Indian Summer Alpacas
is located in the North West corner of Rhode Island in the town of
Glocester RI. Glocester is made up of several villages one of, which is
named Chepachet.Douglas Hook Road is off US RT. 44 also
called Putnam Pike. Rt. 44 runs through the middle of Chepachet. Douglas Hook Road starts
in the middle of Chepachet. Coming from the west on RT.44 there is a CVS on your left.
Directly after the CVS parking but before the Glocester Town Hall you will turn left onto
Douglas Hook Road. Coming from the East Douglas Hood is on your right just after the
Glocester Town Hall but before the CVS parking lot.
428 Douglas Hook Road is 2 mile off RT.
44 on your the left. The number is on a black mailbox.
To Find US RT. 44 -
Coming from the West RT. 44 has an
interchange with I-395 in Putnam CT at exit 97. When you exit of I-395 you want to come
east approximately 12 miles. You will come into the middle of Chepachet. Look for a CVS
shopping plaza that also includes the local Post Office. Follow the directions above.
Coming from the East RT, 44 has and
interchange with I-295 in Greenville RI at Exit 7B. When you exit I-295 Exit 7B you will
pointed west on RT. 44. Continue West about 14 miles until you come into the middle of
Chepachet. You will pass a RI State Police barracks on your left. Douglas Hook Road will
be on your right just after the Glocester town hall also on your right. Follow the
direction above.
To Find
I-395
From the North I –395 starts at
Exit 10 off I-90 the Mass Pike. That is the Worchester exit. You will want to head south
on I-395 to Exit 97 in Putnam CT and pick up RT. 44 East.
From the South I-395 starts in New
London CT off I-95. You will what to head North on I-395 to Exit 97 in Putnam CT and pick
up RT. 44 East.
