Indian Summer Alpacas believes in quality alpacas.  Our Breeding program has been designed to emphasize quality of fiber, conformation, purity of color and temperament.  We give special emphasis to an alpacas quality of health and consistency in production of superior progeny. 

At Indian Summer Alpacas, we constantly strive to improve the alpaca through meticulous selection & breeding practices. Our herd represents no specific country of origin. It simply represents what we feel are some of the finest quality alpacas available.  Our Foundation herd has been carefully selected from several of the top breeding farms across the country.  We buy from large and small farms alike.  We scout alpacas where we feel quality will be found.

Feel free to browse... but always remember there's nothing like an actual farm visit.  Farm visits are always welcome but are available by appointment only.  If you're just starting to research & learn about alpacas, come on out to get some hands on experience. 

We're located in Chepachet, Rhode Island (NW).  10 minutes off Interstate-395 and 1.25 hours from Boston, MA and Hartford, CT
